Full course description

This course is intended for faculty who plan to teach a web-enhanced, hybrid/blended/flipped, or fully online course.  This is a self-paced course which will introduce participants to how communication, content, instruction, and/or assessment differ in these various types of learning environments.  

This course provides participants with a basic understanding of which technological tools are available to Auburn University faculty and within the Canvas Learning Management System for asynchronous and synchronous instruction, as well as effective course design and best practices in online instruction.

Participants will be provided with a variety of resources including readings, animated tutorials and interactive learning exercises, videos, and self-assessments.

There will be a variety of activities for you to complete throughout this course.  Upon the completion of key milestones, you will receive a micro-credential to recognize your achievement.
