Full program description

This program is about developing and using “winning skills” such as relationship building, self-reflection, adaptability, collaboration, and helping others in order to win in business and, more generally, win in life. Many people equate winning with wealth, but we will develop a well-rounded way of thinking about winning in business and in life. Winners ethically pursue high achievement, they treat others as they would want to be treated, and they contribute to the building of stronger communities. And winning skills are central to it all.

Your guide on your winning journey is Harbert Eminent Scholar Dave Ketchen, an award-winning teacher and researcher in Auburn’s Harbert College of Business. In contrast to self-help courses that rely on buzzwords and hype, the content of this program leverages a variety of compelling and interactive teaching tools, including carefully curated and interesting readings, brief interviews with high achievers, insights from scientific research on what makes people successful, opportunities for self-reflection, and much more.

The Winning Skills certificate is earned after completing the five short courses listed above. Enrollment in each individual short course is $49, so if you choose to enroll in the full program, you receive a free course. As each short course is completed, you earn an attractive digital badge.
